I have seen avatar and first let me say what i think of the film. Its plot is not that great and the reason i watched it was to see how the art style was. Honestly I was like why post this? All I see is just a photo from the film. Its nice to see something so beautiful and ascetically pleasing. I love the use of textures that give a warm feeling of peace. A simple concept yet complex in design. I give it 5/5 for technique.

The floating islands make the art so nice. There a simple concept yet complex at the same time. It has a Nice flow to it and is full of movement. You want to look at everything. The only problem is listed below. For that I give it a 4.5/5 for Vision.

The one thing that bothers me is that it looks like its out of the film. I know that its a good thing for a artiest to do but it takes out on originality. For the same reason it didn't leave a huge impact on me. I know I've seen something like this in the film. For the reason it's not a full copy give it 3.5/5 In originality. I give it 3/5 stars in impact for the fact someone painted this.

All in all i like this piece. It nice and something I would hang on my wall. Grouping the stars together I will say I give this piece 16/20.
